Job Description:
? Operation---The factory inspector is responsible for the day to day operational quality inspection to ensure factory compliance to Nestle Purina requirements.
o Inspect and monitor the production process both the wet and dry workshops daily
o Send the daily report to lead factory inspector and follow up on any issues needed be concerned
o Assist with root-cause analysis for corrective action for quality, regulatory and food safety related issues.
o Perform NIR testing
o Completion of the surveillance testing sampling in co-manufacture as requirements.
o Attend weekly operational review meeting as required.
o Explain WT process quality requirements to factory, train the factory on WT SOPs
o TAG or other project supporting
o Perform the sensory control in factory for finished goods
o Perform formal release program for raw material and finished goods
o Collect the tracking information for the material consuming and traceability for each production day.
? Product Safety---factory inspector is responsible for development, management, compliance, on-going sustainability and continuous improvement of factory Product Safety and Food Safety Program to ensure all products are manufactured, packaged, stored and shipped under safe and wholesome conditions.
o Conduct inspection to ensure below program factory implemented and maintained effectively
o Conduct Monthly GMP audit and provide support for factory GMP audit
? Quality System---factory inspector is responsible for the development, compliance, on-going sustainability and continuous improvement of factory Food Safety Management System(FSSC 22000)
o Conduct Waggin Train annually audit program to ensure factory quality system is effective
o Supervise factory the corrective and preventative action program
o Coordinate the factory change control program that may impact the quality and food safety
o Conduct and supervise the Quality Monitoring Scheme(QMS) for Waggin Train and Factory.
o Provide the support for internal audit
? Communication
o Immediately notify Factory Inspector leader of any changes to ingredients, formulations, workshop design or structure, process flow, or sources of raw materials.
o Immediately notify Factory Inspector leader of any quality incidents, unforeseen events, or other irregularities related to WT production.
o Coordinate training and development of factory stuff


Education:
? Degree in Food Science or related discipline or 3-5 years equivalent work experience in Quality Assurance in food manufacturing setting.
? Successful Certificate of Completion of ISO22000/FSSC22000 Internal Auditor or Lead Assessor training course upon hire, if not already obtained
? Licensing and Certification as Certificated Pest Management Professional
