CLIENT PROFILE
Our client is one of the world’s leadings suppliers of innovative solutions in grinding, cutting, drilling, honing, dressing and polishing. With about 4.600 employees in 27 production locations in 11 countries they offer top quality products combined with local, individual service. Our client has almost 100 years history in their niche marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
? Support of existing customers and acquisition of new customers
? Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
? Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority
? Oversee sales support activities such as customer service, distribution, invoicing to ensure customer orders are processed, dispatched and invoiced accurately and on time
? Monitor solvency and paying habits of customers
? Drawing up and further development of the operational market strategy
? Drawing up periodic sales plans and setting targets for the sales region in coordination with the Sales Manager Asia Pacific
? Define and monitor measures to achieve the targets set
? Participation in the planning and organization of sales promotion measures (trade fairs, seminars and trainings etc.) in cooperation with the Marketing Department
? Collect and process market and competitor information and forward it to Divisional Management and the Marketing Department so they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands
? Supervision and leadership of direct reports (depending on the staffing development of the business.
? Establish and control of the regional cost budgets within the own area of responsibility
Candidate Requirements:
? Basic education University degree (Technical and/or business studies) or equal education
? Specialized education Internal technical training, controlling basics, sales and marketing
? Experience Several years experience in similar industrial sectors like processing of natural stone, ceramics or glass, diamond tools business
Several years proven sales experience
? IT skills MS-Office
? Language skills Chinese (native)
fluent Business English
? Special personal skills Strong communication skills
Customer oriented thinking
High self-motivation and commitment
Cost awareness
High willingness to travel
Highly oriented towards achievement of results and targets
