Job Description

? Develop GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA and TD-SCDMA FFB HW of Broadcom mobile platform reference solutions

? Perform RF design of Broadcom mobile platform HW reference phones, test/debug boards, etc.

? Provide RF HW technical support and training of Broadcom platform solution to HW AE team

? Provide 2nd line support of customer HW issue debugging and fixes.

? Interface to 3rd party vendors such as components, PCB, tooling, antenna design houses, etc.

? Some travel is required

Job Requirements

? MSc or PhD in EE or CE

? At least 5+ years experiences in designing, testing and debugging GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA handset hardware and RF

? Experiences in handset development life cycle

? Skilled in using h/w development/analysis tools and instruments

? Knowledge in GSM/GPRS/WCDMA mobile communication systems and specifications

? Experiences and knowledge in TD-SCDMA handset design and specifications is a strong plus

? Experience in handset manufacturing support is a plus

? Team player and good English communication in writing and speaking required
