Description:

We are actively seeking an experienced software configuration management and release expert whose primary responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing existing automation systems for mission critical software build, test and release activities. In this role the candidate will be exposed to many new exciting technologies, tools and processes. The team is geographically distributed and the systems architected in this role have immediate impact on the large global software development community. The candidate should have previous successes architecting, implementing and deploying new features to production systems (IE: software development lifecycle for tools) with a major focus on change and configuration management, hooks, triggers, reporting, data mining, etc.

The job will span multiple functional areas (GIT, Perforce, Electric Commander, Electric Accelerator, ReviewBoard, JIRA, ClearQuest, Coverity, and more). A fundamental/expert understanding of the PERL interpreted programming language and advanced UNIX skills are required. Data mining and SQL is also a critical part of the role.

The ability to work within a global team, excellent communication skills and excellent organizational skills are required for success. Independent debugging and reverse engineering existing solutions with a focus on performance and large scalability will be critical for success. Candidate will work within a large, globally distributed fast paced team of Configuration Management/Automation Specialists.

Job Requirements:

1.BS in Computer Science or higher degree.

2.Expert knowledge with the PERL interpreted language.

3.5-10 years of experience with configuration and change management

4.5-10 years build & release management for software/firmware/embedded/web applications.

5.Excellent communication skills.

6.Excellent organization skills.

7.Excellent UNIX skills.

8.Proven automation experience enforcing processes with a source control tool and/or issue management system.

Optional:

1.Relational database/SQL knowledge, (Microsoft SQL Server, mysql).

2.Good knowledge in programming language C, C++ or Java.

3.Understands operating system concepts.

4.Linux & Windows System Administration skills.

5.Experience with any of the following is a plus:
