Responsibilities:

1. Lead 5S program.
2. Monitor and report KPI related to Lean manufacturing, including cost savings
3. Utilize Value-Stream Mapping techniques to assist mapping the desired plant material flow
4. Work in close conjunction with Operations to design optimal shop floor layouts and material handling methods
5. Utilize Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) techniques, initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process
6. Write new procedures and process instructions as necessary
7. Develop training materials and train users in LEAN tools, measurements and procedures
8. Drive environmental, health & safety improvements with 'zero incidents' mentality.

Required:

1. Engineering degree
2. 2-5 yrs experience in a LEAN function in manufacturing environment
3. Experience in a multi-national company is a plus
4. Good written and spoken English
5. Trained and familar with Lean manufacturing and various productivity tools like 5S, Kanban, Kaisen, six sigma, TPM
6. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence (in English).
7. Ability to communicate effectively with employees of organization, from operators to management
