Job Description:
Broadcom is developing solutions supporting the next generation of 3G and 4G high-speed mobile technologies. As part of the Mobile Platform, Broadcom offers a family of LTE (Long Term Evolution), HSPA+, HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access), HSUPA (High-Speed Uplink Packet Access), WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple-Access), TD-SCDMA (Time Division - Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access), EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution), GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) and GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) baseband processors for use in cellular handsets, PC cards and other wireless-enabled consumer electronics.
?Work with a multi-discipline team to test and commercialize 2G/3G/4G solutions;
?Responsible for executing and coordinating field test activities, develop test plans for the 2G/3G/4G field testing (GSM,GPRS,EDGE,Rel 99, HSDPA, HSUPA,TD-SCDMA, LTE) in addition to data analysis through debug tools, compile test results and generate test reports;
?Coordinate with network operators for additional requirements, discovering test routes for various test scenarios, debugging customer functional and performance issues;
?Work with system engineering team and platform team for the analysis and debugging efforts;


Job Requirements
?Typically requires a BS degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering and 6 years of experience or an MS degree and 3 years of experience.
?prefer to have field test experience of GSM/UMTS/TDSCDMA user equipments
?The position requires understanding of communications systems including both 2G and 3G protocol stack, ability to evaluate wireless communications systems through lab testing, data logging, handset log analysis manually and through post processing tools.
?Be able to execute test cases and isolate issues accurately
?Experience with TDSCDMA/UMTS test simulators and test systems like Agilent, Starpoint,R&S is a plus
?Good knowledge of how to diagnose, debug, and describe system test failures.
?Good verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
?Effective team player and be able to work independently.
