Job Description:
Manage day to day security operations for China (Dalian, Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and Shenzhen) locations. Directly work with internal and external partners to maintain and enhance the security and safety of Broadcom. Responsible for physical security (access control, alarm monitoring and CCTV systems) site risk assessment surveys, incident investigations, facilitate theft reports, perform risk/threat assessments, assist with executive protection, act as lead member of emergency response team, and enhance overall security/safety programs. Manage employees and contractors performing specific security & and safety objectives and monitor vendor performance / expenses. Collaborates with other business groups within Broadcom (HR, Facilities, Legal, and Corporate Services), fire, police, EMS, and Departments of Environmental Health as they relate to office operations. Help develop customized policies and procedures to strengthen compliance with regulations internal and external to the company. Assist with implementing performance of corporate safety and security standards, policies and practices.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Performs responsibilities under the direction of the regional security manager and works closely with local BU management, Office Services, HR, Facilities and corporate security management teams.

TECHNOLOGIES:
Operating Systems: MS-Windows XP, MS-Office 2007, MS Outlook, Excel, Lenel, Wavelet, ACE, Remedy. Prior Lenel operating experience would be an advantage.
