Summary:
The Inside Sales (IS), under the direction of the Business Development Manager and dotted line to the Sales Manager, is responsible for responding to all inquires by international customers in all forms with the best interest of the company and the customer at all times. Also the IS will support the Domestic Sales Team and their efforts to assist the company in achieving its shipments and booking goals. The IS will coordinate with individuals in the Sales, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Accounting departments to ensure that those individuals are aware of the customers needs and are clear on the priority for each issue. A clear understanding of the customer needs is a crucial part of the IS responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLILTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Respond to all customer inquiries, to the IS best ability with accurate information in an efficient time frame. To be successful the IS must achieve the following:
All aspects of customer service will be conducted in a professional manner
§ Respond to all incoming customer calls including those requiring technical responses
§ Work with the sales team to prepare and standardize sales contracts
§ Identify competitive products and provide interchange solutions
§ Receive and process orders with Customer Service Personnel as well as sending Order Acknowledgement to customers
§ Interact with customers and distributors via phone, fax, and e-mail
§ Interact with production planning, purchasing, operations, shipping, and production floor supervisors to complete daily tasks, organize meeting with them in order to improve turnover and delivery time.
§ Making quotations to customers as well as product cost analysis.
§ Managing the expediting of orders, requests, etc.
§ Prepare and develop weekly/monthly/yearly sales reports and analysis.
§ Handling and processing returned goods as well as customer complaints
§ Efficient use of ERP Computer System as well as good PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook in order to perform analysis.
§ Supports the Sales manager by completing assigned sales oriented tasks and communicating daily sales activities
Works as a member of the Sales Team with the best interest of the company and the customer in mind at all times.
Willingness to accept special assignments and completing them independently, correctly, and in a timely manner.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and one to two years inside sales experience and/or training/ or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as application and product drawings, catalogs and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, to collect data, to establish facts, and to draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply commonsense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
TRAVEL DEMANDS
No travel is required for completion of daily assignments. Moderate travel may be required for special assignments.
