Duties and Responsibilities
1.Develops ONYX HR strategy in conjunction with the mission, goals and objectives of the properties and presents to Executive Committee.
2.Establishes the Shama Shanghai HR framework including:
?The organization structure.
?HR Policies and Procedures.
?Recruitment system.
?Induction and Orientation procedures.
?Training procedures
?Performance Appraisal system.
3.Develops staffing policies in line with Shama Shanghai guidelines.
4.Develop strategies to correct operational problems relating to staff (including absenteeism, turn over, retention, morale etc).
5.Manage industrial relations issues of the property.
6.Maintain remuneration scales in accordance with financial objectives.
7.Maintains and updates files on employee records, legal documents and other Personnel matters, efficiently and confidentiality.
8.Develops and implements recruiting and screening systems and procedures in order to attract qualified candidates for position vacancies.
9.Regularly analyses properties’ manpower requirements and recommends selection and development activities to meet those requirements.
Qualifications & Required Skills:
?Communication skills; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the brand and the Company.
?Knowledge of Local Labor and Employment Regulations.
?Problem solving, analytical, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
?Good writing skills.
?5 years of relevant experience or similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
