We are an Asia buying office of a leading French retailing Group in Hong Kong. To cope with our business strategy and presently is looking for talented candidates to fill in the following position:


Job Description:
Daily samples checking (measurements, fitting, workmanship, respect of previous comments) for filter or approval before sending o customers
Constant communication with office team (merchandisers and QC) as well as customer’s fit team
Close work with suppliers to ensure good samples quality before production. Regular evaluations of their technical level and understanding
Regular report to Fit and Officer Managers
Proposals of improvement based on experience and incidents


Requirements
3 to 5 years experience in buying office / factory
Ideally been working with garment categories / materials
Garment Engineering high school or university of garment technology, pattern making and fabric knowledge
Knowledge of pattern making, grading and industrial workmanship
Good command of English
Good sense of communication
Fastness with accuracy
Positive team spirit
Travelling is needed
Sufficient knowledge of computer software, especially Excel and Photo treatment
