Job Description:
Micron’s Product Engineering Department supports product development and product enhancement. Product Engineers acts as the interfaces with design, process, test, reliability and marketing engineering to solve problems and sustain products with cost reduction and yield improvements.

Job Responsibility:
Define new product DFX, define/ validate test model specs
Define Place holder Documents for new product, define/characterize/validate Device Target Spec
Define Read Window Budget of new product, characterize and drive the solution
Develop/Define/Improve Yield Model, define test methods to assist yield analysis, drive the yield to world class during product development and mass production
Define product margin to spec target, define and run volume characterization plan, drive CPK capability solutions
Analyze, Root cause, Provide solution and implementation, To Meet Qualification Goal, To meet AQL/RPM/WLR monitor Goal, RMA
Lead of Excursion Management (MRBs)
Own Product Health Indicator; drive PHI from development to mass production
Own customized projects after ship release
Support Test Engineering to drive minimum test time / maximize parallelism so to maximize test capacity
Support factory excursions and customer return analysis (FACR)

Job Requirements Technical:
Electrical/electronic engineering background, BS with 3 years experience or MS degree
Semiconductor background knowledge
FAB process knowledge
Familiar with Analog / Digital Design
Electrical Failure Analysis tool skill – Oscilloscope/logic analyzer /etc
EFA/PFA flow understanding
Software programming skill
Data crunching tool skill – Perl/Excel
Able to apply statistical knowledge into data analysis
Structured problem solving skill
