Overall Purpose of the Role:
To direct the implementation and maintenance of audit programs for financial and non financial procedures for internal operations.
Ensuring proper recording of transactions and compliance with established procedures and applicable laws and regulations, which improve operational efficiency and achieve minimum standard of Compass Group internal control policy.
Manage the work and performance of the internal audit team, whilst delivering a value add service that assist the business to achieve its objectives. Develop a strong partnership approach with all Compass Group China management teams, ensuring openness of communication and clarity of understanding on all issues.
Responsibilities:
Contract initiation procedure audit.
Contract management and monitored for compliance to agreed terms and condition.
Customer / Client service programmes audit.
IUA in place to support in unit paper work and improve internal control environment.
Revenue recognition including price, volume.
Cash management and monitoring process.
Accounts receivable processing and monitoring.
Selection and evaluation of suppliers.
Goods received and processing accounts payable.
Processing payments.
Maintaining product / supplier master file.
Purchasing discount.
In unit stock management.
Plan and complete financial and non financial reviews across all the group business in China.
Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Four plus years work experience in finance areas such as accounting, auditing, planning and analysis.
Previous operational experience in manufacturing, inventory, sales and distribution environment of consumer goods (preferred).
Experience of risk assessments and risk management.
Excellent PC Skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, Electronic audit work papers, etc.).
Fluency in English speaking and writing.
Ability to work independently, a self-starter, creative thinker with high professional standards and integrity.
Good analytical skills, with strong risk awareness and thorough understanding of processes and controls.
Risk aware and experience in completing risk assessments and developing action plans to mitigate them.
Commercially competent and ambitious.
