Brief Job Description:

Axalta Coatings System (ACS) is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to support the business growth of Voltatex® Impregnating Resins in China. The selected individual will provide support to sales internally and technical service to customers externally.

Job Descriptions

· Provide pre-sale technical support to sales and distributors in terms of customer application investigation, product portfolio recommendation.

· Identify and understand customer needs from technical aspect. Work out technical penetration solution for new customer development accordingly.

· Understand IR market trend. Collect competitor’s material and information on the market, design benchmarking plan to disclose market position of Voltatex® IR.

· Work closely with R&D team to conduct comparison tests, consolidate the data and share the mature results to the team or customers in the form of formal report.

· Monitor on line trials on customer side; optimize process parameters to maximize the impregnating performance.

· Assist customer’s production department on impregnating resin switch, ensure the success initiation of mass production.

· Trouble shooting; provide effective solution to customers to solve application problems. Handle customer complaints closely with technology, quality and sales team.

Qualifications

· Bachelor in polymer science, chemical engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering

· Above 3 years technical experience in motor or transformer industry

· Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills

· Good English and Mandarin skill including writing and speaking

· Self-motivated and ability to work independently or within a team

· Good pressure management skill

· Able to travel frequently
