职位描述

GENERAL PURPOSE
Develop and maintain quality department processes and procedures for corrective and preventive action, product audits, and non-conforming material. Participate in NPI activities such as first articles, design reviews, ECOs, and create inspection plans. Provide training, support, and leadership for cross-functional problem solving activities.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILTIES
? Work in conjunction with Purchasing and Manufacturing Engineering teams developing and implementing strategies related to supplier development, technical support;
? Supplier report card generation and review meetings including overview of inspection results;
? Conduct supplier QMS(Quality Management System) audit and follow up to close the non-conformities;
? Perform product & process audits;
? Analyze data from customer feedback, source inspection, product & process audits, and provide feedback to the responsible functional groups to ensure that corrective actions are assigned as appropriate;
? Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure that they are completed in a timely fashion and effectively eliminate root causes;
? Access the supplier’s measurement capabilities and help the supplier to conduct MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis) studies;
? Involve in the phase gate reviews for the product development process
? Create inspection plans for source inspections and provide trainings & support to QC inspectors.
? Create quality notifications and assign tasks appropriately in SAP.
? Calibration management for Milestone owned testing equipment (China);
? In coordination with regulatory compliance team, work with suppliers on the process related to regulatory compliance of company products.
? Maintain the necessary documentation for corrective and preventive action (CAPA) and product & process audit activities including process flow charts, procedures, work instructions, forms, records, and training as appropriate.
? Measure the effectiveness of the CAPA process and provide measurements to responsible parties for management review.
? Assist with the creation, development, and implementation of company processes and procedures.
? Lead and participate in cross-functional problem solving teams.
? Provide training on problem solving methodologies and tools.
? Participate in cross-functional or department meetings as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
? Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) in English
? Excellent interpersonal skills
? Proficient in the use of personal computers, internet and Microsoft Office suite of software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook (or related e-mail system)
? Proven ability to query and manipulate data using MS Excel, MS Access, Minitab, and/or other programs and transform the data into information
? Proven ability to write technical documents such as procedures and specifications
? Ability to interpret standards, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.
? Desire to solve problems
? Proven ability to solve problems utilizing common problem solving methodologies/tools such as PDCA, DMAIC, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone diagrams, is/is not tables, Pareto charts, Control charts, FMEA, Process capability Study, etc.
? Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects
? Proven ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
? Proven ability to work independently, as a member of a team, and as a team leader
? Proven ability to make sound decisions within established guidelines
? Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law
? Ability to demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and to appropriately prioritize workload based upon organization or department needs
? Be detail-oriented and have excellent follow-through skills
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
? Bachelor’s degree or other related technical degree with a minimum of five (5) year’s experience in problem solving.
? Minimum of 3 year’s experience in the position of engineer(quality or similar) in a multinational company
Special Job Requirements:
? Must be available for long, varied work hours at times

Preferred Qualifications:
? Experience with ISO9001/ISO14001
? Experience with SAP quality module
? Experience with UL/TUV/RoHS/CPSIA/REACH
? Six Sigma black belt certification or equivalent

? Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
? General office environment
? Regular shop assembly
? May require regular ground travel
? Long-distance or air travel as needed – not to exceed 30% travel
