This position will be responsible for Silane application development in coating industry.

· Support customers in utilizing MPM’s coating additive products in a wide range of coating and ink applications by demonstrating the value generated with our products.
· Support the Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) in mapping the current product offering vs. local market needs
· Develop new silicone materials designed to meet the rapidly changing needs of the coating segment and support the RMM in introducing these new materials to the market.
· Support the RMM in benchmarking product performance in application testing
· Follow up with key customer’s application questions and conduct in-house trials to help optimize customer formulations. · Support the RMM in market promotion activities (e.g. technical seminars, tradeshows, etc).
· Support the day to day needs of the coating segment.


1) Technical capability to understand our resins and silane products in coating formulations.
2) Work experience in coating resins is preferred 5-year technical support experience in the paint and coating industry 3) Application knowledge in the paint/coating industry, industrial coating segment experience preferred
4) English skills sufficient to understand and analyze technical information coming other members of our Global team in Japan, US, and Europe
5) Strong ability to communicate with customers

Master Degree in a chemical/material science. Preferred subjects include Organic & Polymer Chemistry, Material Science, etc.
