Job Description:
Represent Broadcom Sysops Test Engineering to factories building boards and modules for Broadcom. This role will focus on Wireless Lan, Bluetooth and Combo. The products and scope will increase quickly. Assist the contract manufacturers to design, implement, execute and qualify board level test stations. Also help debug contract manufacturers’ boards, program verification, correlation samples creation and write script for testing utility. This will entail working on multiple projects simultaneously, travel, and working onsite at the contract manufacturers, in addition to building a lab at Broadcom, running additional tests in that lab, implement stations to station correlation and do data/yield analysis. Frequent travel to China is required.
? Provide [onsite] support for Contract Manufacturers and for Test Engineering Functions for WLAN, BT and Combo products
? Help CMs to bring up and qualify test stations. Debug test stations and products as required. Supervise CMs technician to run test.
? Audit CMs testers setup and production line regularly
? Provide results, analysis and reports to colleagues in Design and Test Engineering. Reproduce issues found at CMs.
? Create script for testing utility for internal and external
? Identify more efficient methods to do manufacturing test on Broadcom products
? Represent test Engineering on conference calls with customers, contract manufacturers and Broadcom
? Setup and maintain test lab at Broadcom office for WLAN, BT, and Combo products
Support station to station correlation (calibration procedure and verification standard)
? Generate correlation samples, review correlation test result, identify issues and fix.
? Participate in Test Strategy Implementation
? Write Test Plans, Test Requirements, Test Procedures, failure analysis reports, audit report and other documentation as requested

Job Requirements:
? BSEE or equivalent and at least 6 years, Master degree 3 years of professional experience
? Experienced with RF test equipment including Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meter, Frequency Counter, Litepoint, Network Analyzers, Signal Generator, DMM and BT Anritsu, etc.
? Experience and knowledge about WLAN, BT and Ethernet board level testing are must
? Experience on Window/Linux test environment
? Knowledge of scripting languages such as Tcl and Perl is a plus.
? C programming skills is a plus
? Some background in automated test development and applicable/support experience is desirable
? Experience with managing activities with Contract Manufacturers and driving resolution of manufacturing issues. This engineer must be able to lead the efforts of
