JOB DESCRIPTION :
Objectives
Electrolux has an ongoing commitment to the Electrolux Manufacturing System (EMS) to provide continuous improvements throughout the plant through standard manufacturing principles, tools and materials based on LEAN Production philosophies.

We are seeking a self-driven, motivated and enthusiastic individual to drive our Electrolux Manufacturing System.

This position is expected to provide leadership and direction, and foster a culture of continuous improvement with respect to employees, processes and equipments. We are looking for a person with production / engineering experience to join our EMS team based in Hangzhou, China.

Key Operational Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for:

- Championing the Electrolux Manufacturing System (EMS) throughout the Hangzhou site to impact and improve safety, quality, cost, delivery and people development
- Coordinating and conducting EMS training, workshops, activities and continuous improvement projects (CIP)
- Carrying out certification assessments of personnel, yellow and green gear achievements
- Conducting site wide EMS audits and compiling progress data and reports
- Producing articles and publications to promote EMS, both internally and externally

Competencies needed
- Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
- Experience within Engineering and Production areas
- Knowledge of Lean Production & Lean Material Flow with practical experience on the deployment of 5S, Visual Management, Line balance, TPM, VSM, Pull system, etc..)
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in dealing with people from a diverse range of backgrounds
- Experience in leading training program for small teams would also be advantageous
