Responsibility:
- Develop control-related financial analysis processes & reports to ensure that key business implications are highlighted and issues are addressed
- Provide support to business in addressing accounting issues arising from new business transactions or initiatives
- Implement group financial reporting strategy and initiatives
- Review and analyze the comprehensive periodic reporting packages to be distributed on a timely basis to regulatory authorities, group regional office and executive management.
- Review the mapping table of reports to keep the mapping table updated according to the report definitions.
- Review and sign off the monthly report control list to assure all reports be prepared and submitted on time.
- Review and analyze the financial reports to ensure the reports are accurate.
- Provide timely and accurate accounting data to internal customers for further analysis and decision making
- Ensures that senior management are briefed and aware of Group and local regulatory issues and developments
- Provide instructions/process manuals to reporting team members and make sure that the team members can understand how to achieve their tasks.
- Guide and coach the team members to develop customer-centric service delivery
- Keep the Financial Reporting team abreast of the latest accounting and reporting standards.
- Continuously assess the operational risks of the operations and recommend appropriate remedial actions
- Continuously review and update policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements and to ensure operation efficiency
- Periodically review the reporting internal control process and cooperate with internal or external auditors to solve any financial audit issues.
- Identify reporting process efficiency and control enhancement opportunity; Work with Finance Operations team to implement process enhancements.

Requirement:
- Bachelor‘s degree, prefer major in Accounting or Finance
- Qualified member from a recognized professional accounting body (student members will also be considered)
- 5+ insurance financial experience and familiar with PRC accounting regulations, Tax law and relevant insurance law and regulations
- Familiar with IFRS and insurance accounting.
- Excellent communication and technical (functional and computer) skills.
- Multi-tasking and effective problem solver.
- Good English (written and spoken) and communication skills.
- Computer literacy: Microsoft word, excel, etc.
- Strong team leadership and people and coaching skills
- Self- motivated and deadline driven
- Able to work under pressure
