Responsibilities

§ Responsibility for the sustainable implementation of the sustainability program in the sourcing region.

§ Implementation of the worldwide standard incl. new requirements of the sustainability program to adjust and guarantee the adherence and the comparability in the region.

§ Responsible for implementation of Sustainability Audit/ QS & Visit Planning and conduction of Audits/ Visits with the Coordinator.

§ Communication and report to General Manager-HZ & RM-Asia on a regular basis about the status in the respective sourcing markets and information about problems/ discussion about further proceeding.

§ Monitoring and evaluation of the sustainability reporting (Quick Scan, Audit-, Visit Reports, Supplier List) of the Coordinator.

§ Further development and enhancement of the sustainability program (project work) in cooperation with RM – Asia & s.Oliver Germany office.

§ Implementation of new sustainability requirements in the markets together with the local sustainability team member.

§ Give recommendations regarding the further proceeding with suppliers/ supplier qualification

§ Education and development of coordinators skills on auditing & providing adequate guidance to suppliers for sustainability development

§ Exchange information on media/NGO – issues with RM-Asia & German Sustainability Team.

Profile

§ Comprehensive knowledge on the sustainability/ Compliance requirements.

§ Experience in performing social audits in accordance with internationally approved standards.

§ Communication abilities in English & the local Language.

§ Sound knowledge of Chinese commercial, labor and social law

§ Appropriate knowledge of the Apparel business Process

§ Conflict management & judgment capabilities

§ Ability to maintain high business ethic and integrity

§ Diplomatic and determined

Education

§ Ideally a Bachelor degree.

§ Auditor Certification desirable but not essential.

Working Experience

§ Minimum 5 years of experience in the sustainability domain

§ At least 2 years in a Lead Auditor/ Team leader capacity monitoring the performance & implementation of sustainability program.

Others

§ In the age group between 28 till 35 yrs of age.

§ Willingness to undertake extensive travelling

§ Handling emotions in a professional manner.
