Job Summary:
A teaching position which requires the delivery of Papers/Courses under The International Association of

Accountants (AIA) to High School, University graduates and working adults.

over 1000 part-time and full-time students. With a focus on Accountancy, Finance and Business Management programes,

Metro's vision is to be the leading private education provider offering both bachelor degree programs and professional qualifications in these disciplines. Metro Education represents The International Association of

Accountants (AIA) in Shanghai and is responsible for the delivering of the required Papers/Courses. Students who pass the required Papers/Courses are awarded the AIA Professional Qualification and carry the designator AAIA as their qualification.
Responsibilities:
Design course curriculum materials in Accountancy
Plan and deliver lessons in a clear and appropriate manner
Monitor and maintain high student morale and motivation
Ensure student discipline
Assist with school promotional activities

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accountancy or related discipline (MBA holders will be viewed favorably)
At least 5 years industry experience with preferably 3 years lecturing experience in a similar capacity
To be able to deliver the following courses in English: Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing, Taxation, Tax Planning, Company Law, Management Accounting, Management Information, Information Processing and Economics
Ability to teach in English and Chinese is a plus
Ability to adapt to a multi-cultural setting with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to handle students of different nationalities

英国AIA国际会计师公会全称-The Association of International Accountants，作为一个国际性会计职业考试机构，从建立初期到现在已经超过80年（创立于1928年）。英国AIA专业资格证书因其受到英国的官方认可，成为当今世界最高标准的会计考试，并且是会计行业中炙手可热的专业资格证书。英国AIA是英国1989年颁布的公司法规定的职业审计师合法认可机构之一，是英国会计团体可获得最高认证之一，是世界最大的经济体-欧盟特约的审计组织， 并持有法律认可，采用IFAC的职业会计道德标准。本着“国际会计”的理念致力于开创一个覆盖全球85个国家的国际化会计师体系。

The Association of International Accountants (AIA) was founded in the UK in 1928 as a professional accountancy body and from conception has promoted the concept of ‘international accounting’ to create a global network of accountants in over 85 countries worldwide. AIA is recognized by the UK as a Recognized Qualifying Body for statutory auditors under the Companies Act 2006, as a Prescribed Body under the Companies (Auditing and Accounting) Act 2003 in the Republic of Ireland, and members qualified as a statutory auditor and registered with a Recognized Supervisory Body (RSB) are able to seek registration as a statutory auditor across the European Union. AIA has supervisory status for its members in the Money Laundering Regulations 2007 and has recognition to operate in the National Qualifications Framework as an Awarding Body. The AIA professional qualification is currently recognized in over 30 countries worldwide.

Metro Education was established in 1997 with its headquarter in Singapore. Metro Education’s vision is to be the leading institution of international education in the field of accounting and business in China. As a foreign education institution, Metro Education has two campuses in Shanghai and a team of professional teaching staff of over 100 people. As the Chief Representative in China for the Association of International Accountants (AIA) and the Association of Business Practitioners (ABP) in UK, Metro Education conducts the AIA and ABP programe under the Full-time and Part-time mode targeting at High School graduates and the working adults. By the end of 2011, Metro Education has established regional offices in Hangzhou, Nanjing, Hefei, Dalian, Qingdao and Guiyang in China and a regional office in Seoul, Korea. Currently, there are only 20 companies which has been awarded this membership in Shanghai.
