Functional Responsibility / Domain Related
61 Ensure articles are grammatically accurate, adhere to house style, and meet publishing standards.
61 Apply 'digital-first' principles, through brevity and use of plain English.
61 Highlight insights through refining key messages, topic sentences, headlines.
61 Pay strong attention to detail and processes to ensure error-free articles under tight deadlines that comply with regulatory standards.
61 Ensure all articles conform to global publishing standards in terms of format, style, and branding specifications.
61 Conceptualize graphics for data visualization and infographics.
61 Work independently and communicate effectively.
61 Support global teams across multiple regions APAC, EMEA, NA, LATAM
61 Curiosity and proactiveness to try and learn new things
Qualification and Essential Skills:
61 Bachelor's degree holder, preferably in economics, finance, or journalism.
61 Minimum two-to-three years' financial editing experience, preferably with a financial information provider or finance-related newsroom.
61 Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
61 Sound knowledge of terminology and concepts used in financial markets.
61 Good interpersonal and decision-making skills.
61 Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and pressured environment.
61 Firm familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
Eligibility Criteria:
61 Poynter ACES Certificate of Editing or similar, Experience with Adobe Illustrator or InDesign will be added advantage
