Responsibilities:
?Design and develop core middleware systems using Java and/or C and/or C++ based on Android OS.
?Implement custom services, applications, and device management features.
?Writing technical documents, including architecture diagrams and API descriptions.
?Ensure the product software has the highest quality, performance, and security.
?Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

3. Technical / Professional skills
?BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
?2+ years of experience in AOSP or other Android OS related works
?3+ years of experience as Android Libraries and Framework developer
?Experience with the AOSP build system or complex builds
?Expert in OS concepts (multi-core processing, threads, processes, sockets, etc), algorithms, and data structures.
?Strong experience Android OS development and familiarity with Android Build System.
?Experience in modifying framework services, Proficiency in the Google Android SDK and NDK.
?Thorough knowledge of the lower layers of AOSP and the Android OS architecture.
?Android OS and Linux OS based device management. Opportunities to learn some key drivers and a surface-level enough to get key information and to deliver the info to a host server. From driver to OS to app services to cloud.
?Solving hard problems at the module levels of USB, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.
