We are currently looking to recruit an Operations Account Manager (OAM) to manage our relationship, satisfaction, and business results with Microsoft Partners and Microsoft Subsidiary in China.

Responsibilities
The Operations Account Manager (OAM) interfaces with Microsoft's external licensing stakeholders and drives strategies to pro-actively address and simplify complex licensing issues, communicate program changes, and work to minimize Sales/Operations related issues. The portfolio extends across verticals and other business groups.
The Operations Account Manager (OAM) is accountable for excellence in overall operational performance for their client base, identification and creation of solutions to solve deficiencies, improve performance, maximize revenue within their business segment and driving change on a global level when appropriate.
Key Responsibilities of this position include:
Relationship Management: Be a trusted advisor and consultant to Depth/Global channel partners, while providing proactive account management. Partner engagement aligns to SMS&P PSG and EPG segments. Own a relationship map and drive Conditions of Satisfaction plans / Account Planning discussions with Partner Account Managers (PAMs) and partners. Potentially travel throughout the region, undertaking business reviews with Channel Partners and subsidiaries. Develop a best in class relationship model, driving channel partner satisfaction & loyalty, and working collaboratively on improvement initiatives. Responsible for providing direction to virtual teams of OAMs managing Global partners.
Field Engagement: Act as key Field Engagement lead to subsidiary, engaging with Country GMs and segment leads. Partner with Field to identify and transition activities from PAMs & Licensing Specialists to Operations. Joint account planning and Conditions of Satisfaction management with PAMs. Participate in sales cycle, influence operational goals and planning through strategic insight and action. Provide close support to field in opportunity management and deal construction.
Business Insight: Provide end-to-end Operations insight for your managed country. Drive shared commitments with clients & cross organizational teams to deliver business results. Understand Microsoft’s vision and tenants; assess through discussions with regional HQs, Program teams and worldwide business teams’ yearly roadmaps; then lead the execution of an operations framework to meet partner needs now and in the future. Manage or participate in formal ROBs with responsibilities for the planning cycle and executive relationships. Understand compliance and regulations. Manage or participate in Area Conferences.
Strategic Management: Define rules of engagement with subsidiary. Enable sales and revenue growth through new operational business models. Be an advocate for Channel Partner Experience (CPE) within Operations and the broader Microsoft organization internationally. Work with managers and individuals across support organizations, ensuring they understand targets and commitments to channel partners. Ensure necessary resources are in place to achieve relevant support and delivery of key initiatives.
Personal/Projects: Drive key projects to completion in collaboration with teams in our highly matrix organization.
Issue Management: Accountable for your managed country partner satisfaction. Secondary point of escalation for Depth partner queries. Drive continuous improvement in issue management processes.
Readiness: Accountable for Depth partner training, field readiness and coordination of resources at a local level. Work with APOC readiness team to drive improvement in channel & field readiness programs.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years demonstrated work experience in an operations environment including, account management, customer service, business operations, licensing, supply chain management or logistics.
- BA/BS or equivalent required.
- Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft product line (include retail and volume licensing products/programs) and the ability to leverage these products to get the job done.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and account management.
- Experience in international and / or domestic logistics or supply chain management.
- General knowledge of international business and a high degree of cultural awareness and sensitivity required.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Ability to develop and implement creative solutions and influence others in their adoption.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation experience and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business
- Must be highly self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote location away from core business team.
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent command of English is essential
Desirable Requirements
- Fluency in one or more regionally supported languages
- Excellent understanding of finished goods, OEM and/or licensing channels
- Specific knowledge of the business activities within the assigned Channel Partner account(s) is helpful.
