As a R&D Engineer – Hardware, you will be reporting to R&D Technology Manager in Business Area – Industrial Automation, Process Control Platform located in Hangzhou, China.

- Being responsible for hardware part design of DCS product development.
- Performing electronics component evaluation.
- Providing support to solve technical issues in product functional, EMC, Climate test and other tests.
- Providing technical support through whole life cycle of the product, from development to production and maintenance.
- Building up communication network within R&D (cross-location) and other collaboration departments (cross-function).

- Must have a bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Must be experienced both in analog and digital circuit design and also in MCU/CPU platform selection and application based on product requirement.
- Must have analytical skills to solve problems generally, good understanding on EMC design / verification.
- Must have knowledge on industrial electronics products from whole life cycle view, on principle of component selection and on electronics product DFM (Design for manufacturing), DFT.
- Desired skills are Mentor Graphics (e.g. designer and expedition, pads), good communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- Must be willing to take challenges and willing to learn, willing to share knowledge with the team and be a team player.
- Knowledge of fieldbus Device (wireless hart/FF/ Profibus PA etc..) or similar product, experience in industrial, automotive or medical electronics and understanding on firmware, mechanical design and production would be added advantages.
