POSITION: SOURCER，SENIOR LEVEL

OBJECTIVES

-Sourcing experience on items and suppliers for kitchenware, kids, seasonal, toys, etc.

-Very familiar with European market (French market knowledge is an advantage)

-Follow and perform on the 5 sourcing strategic axes defined

-Respect the timetable defined by projects and listed on the indicators report- Advise the buyer and your superior on any derivatives

-Work closely with the buyer and collaborate with him on all the projects you will be in charge of. Know the norms and regulation of the items categories mentioned

-Constantly organize some new suppliers visit by yourself to introduce them to buyers when they come in China

-Attend Canton fairs, HK fairs, twice a year

RESPONSABILITIES

Product Development and sourcing

- Coordinate with buyer & designer to source/develop a product that meet with buyers demands

- Full project costs' analysis

- Negotiate with suppliers to get the best quotation and sample

- Report to the General Manager/Buyer on any important delay or bottlenecks you face on the projects you work on (indicators report)

- Introduce the sourcing review twice a year with the buyers and QS managers

- Be opportunist on products, suppliers and Chinese market evolution

- Have a very good analyse on price level per item, and per raw materials

- Analyse the visual quality of items and check the quality norms and regulations

- Plan the market watch by yourself and with buyer

Order and production follow-up

- Collect and check self-assessment/Company profile from suppliers

- Follow the orders according the milestones implemented

SKILLS AND COMPETENCES :

- A real experience and knowledges on items and european market (french is a real plus)

- A real experience in sourcing on kitchenware, kids, seasonal, toys, car accessories etc.

o Good feeling of items is requested

- Familiar with international organization

- Strong organizational skills

- Autonomous but communicating

- Power of proposal with good reasoning and a positive spirit

- Familiar with xls, word and ppt application
