Job Responsibilities:

?Perform general accounting duties such as system data entry, VAT invoice issuance checking & verification, reconciliation and stock take

?Draft payment applications and E-banking (telegraphic transfer, LC remittance etc.)

?Handle accounts payable/ accounts receivable

?Reconcile month end vouchers, unrealized payments, cash balances, broker statements, exchange statements with head quarter Treasury & Accounting.

?Manage initial and variation margin, settlements and cash related to Futures transactions

?Responsible for monthly closing process including preparation of journal entries, banking records reconciliations and schedules in accordance with Dubai.

?Responsible for Chart of Accounts, manage and resolve any system related issues

?Responsible for monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports draft review, statutory financial statements and internal/external audit matters, including attending to requests from auditors

?Assist in preparation of year-end financial statements and notes

?Assist in preparation of tax schedules for tax agent

?Assist in Tax (corporate income tax, vast, stamp duty & surtax) calculation, declaration & payment.

?Participates in efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of the financial reporting process

?Other ad hoc assignments as and when required

?Liaise and cooperate with other department in daily work.

?Keep good communication with bank, tax bureau, SAFE and other partners.

?Maintain Accounting filing system

Job Requirements

?Bachelor's degree with a major in Accountancy or equivalent

?At least 4 years relevant experience in Accounting firm or Commodity trading firm

?Good knowledge of commodity trading transactions (i.e. petrochemical products)

?Good knowledge of tax applications relating to trading activities, including tax incentives and compliance requirements

?Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

?Well versed in Gold Tax, Kingdee financial software, eTax3.0 etc.

?Positive work attitude, keen to learn, team player and communication skills

?Able to multi-task, meticulous and good team player

?Self-driven & independent individual who can multi-task and adapt well in a fast-paced environment

?Strong analytical skill with an eye for details
