Job Summary

FuseBio is seeking highly motivated Research Associate with experiences in Molecular Biology to join our discovery pipeline of protein therapeutics. This position is a key component of company’s technical capability and is responsible for experiment execution in the area of molecular biology and protein chemistry. The successful candidates will work closely with founding team with exposure to biological drug discovery pipeline. This position requires excellent scientific and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on creative solutions to technical problems, along with the ability to interpret analytical results. Ideal candidates have hands-on experiences, want to be a part of biotechnology innovation, and are motivated to challenge self with more responsibilities.

Responsibilities工作职责

1. Independently execute experiments including but not limited to E.Coli culture, phage display, plasmid preparation, PCR, cloning design et al.

2. Communication and coordination with CRO companies regarding to plasmid synthesis, primer synthesis, DNA sequencing, NGS et al.

3. Data recording, analysis and presentation

4. Participation in regular instrument maintenance, lab organization and work environment maintenance

1. 独立完成大肠杆菌培养、噬菌体展示、质粒构建、PCR、克隆设计等实验。

2. 与CRO公司进行质粒合成、引物合成、DNA测序、NGS等方面的沟通协调。

3.数据记录、分析和展示。

4. 参与仪器的日常维护，实验室的组织和工作环境的维护。

Qualifications 职位要求

While on-the-job training will be provided, there are some basic requirement:

1. Bachelor degree major in biological science such as chemistry, biology, pharmacology, and agriculture et al, with at least two-year’s (accumulative) hands on experience on bench work.

2. Team player, keen in learning, and basic interpersonal skills.

3. Self-motivated in a start-up environment with interest in science; ready to adventure and grow with company

4. Relevant experience is preferred.
