Job Summary

FuseBio is seeking excellent cell biologist with immunology background to lead discovery biology to support antibody discovery, antibody production, MOA validation, and lead optimization toward clinical development. The successful candidate will provide scientific leadership in mammalian cell related experiments including but not limited to design and improve immunological assays to explore novel mechanism of action, design and manage animal models, and be the point of contact for internal and external communication in the area of cell biology.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and perform cell-based assays to characterize biological candidates

2. Investigate and validate mechanism of action of leading molecules

3. Design and manage efficacy and mechanism of action studies using animal models

4. Oversee and provide guidance to mammalian cell culture related experiments

5. Effectively communicate results to team members and collaborators

6. Identify new opportunities and initiatives and actively participate in innovation

工作职责：

1. 开发和执行基于细胞的分析，以确定生物候选物的特征

Qualifications: passion in science, established achievement, relevant experience and credential

1. PhD in cell biology, immunology or related area with 2-5 years of post-graduate experiences; first author publication in top-tier peer reviewed journal required; oversea (official language includes English) background preferred.

2. Extensive experience in tissue culture or animal models; able to design and execute experiments independently; hands on experiences with one or more of following areas:

（1）Stable cell line generation and maintenance

（2）Immunological assay for antibody characterization, experiences with PBMC preferred

（3）Primary tumor profiling, experiences with patient’s solid tumor preferred

（4）Transgenic mice, experiences with human receptor knock-in preferred

（5）Syngeneic and xenograft models, experiences with PDX model preferred

3. Flexible work schedule with ability to contribute to evening and weekend efforts if necessary

4. Strong written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English are required

5. Self-motivated in a start-up environment with passion in science; ready to adventure and grow with company
