The Buyer will ensure the smooth operations of the Global Material Management team in Entegris, poised to be a change agent in the growth of the organization. He/she will work with both internal and external business partners to deliver operational performance through the drive for a proactive and predictive supply chain.

 

The ideal candidate must be a team player with an eye for details, has strong work ethics, and a positive attitude.

·         Manage suppliers' performance: Ensure key metrics for on-time delivery and supply to customers are met.

·         Engage in inventory reduction activities: Optimize safety stock settings and drive E&O (excess & obsolescence) activities.

·         Engage in cost reduction activities. 

·         Ensure statutory compliance and customer satisfaction: Work with different business stakeholders to ensure compliance while meeting customers' requirements.

·         Be an escalation point: Root cause and resolve supply issues.

·         Manage changes: Keep active lookout for improvement opportunities and drive continuous business process and systems improvement projects to meet the goals of the Global Materials Management team. 

• Provide executive updates: Submit reports and provide regular updates of supply line situations and project statuses.

• Has a Bachelor degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the roles of Purchasing/Supplier Management with hands on experience in ERP/MRP systems 
• Preferably familiar in use of SAP system
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office 365 tools 
• Conversant in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Has a good understanding of import / export requirements in China
• Analytical and good communications skills
