岗位要求：

1、生物工程，生物化学，分子生物学，微生物学或其他相关专业的硕士学位或博士学位（或具有5年以上工作经验的学士学位）。 

2、优先选择具有RNA处理经验的人员，尤其是熟练使用下一代测序（NGS）的人员。

3、具有设计胞外酶分析实验的经验。

4、具备分析系统（LC和GC）知识。

5、具有丰富的管理他人和团队合作的经验。

6、具有良好的沟通能力，工作认真认真，有较强的工作责任感和团队合作精神。

7、英语口语和写作熟练。

Job Responsibilities：    

1. Design and execute condition specific transcriptomic (RNAseq) experiments to help determine the sequence of desired novel enzymes
2. Validate the function of novel enzymes by ordering the codon optimized sequence, expressing the protein in a host organism, and performing enzyme assays using whole cell, crude extract, or purified enzyme.
3. Help develop, maintain, and improve next-generation sequencing (NGS) platforms of in-house DNA and RNA sequencing.
4. Identify and screen homologous biodiversity libraries using online databases.
5. Design and execute experiments independently or in collaboration with junior research associates.
6. Manage a small team of 1-2 research associates to perform the tasks above
7. Collaborate broadly across different departments including Analytics, Fermentation, and Computation.
8. Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
9. The person needs to write weekly summaries in English and keep an updated electronic lab notebook (ELN).

Qualifications ：   

1. Master’s or PhD degree (or Bachelor’s with 5+ years of industrial experience) in bioengineering, biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology or other related majors.
2. Hands on experience with working with RNA especially using next-generation sequencing (NGS) is highly preferred.
3. Experience with designing in vitro enzymes assays
4. Knowledge of analytical systems (LC and GC) is desired.
5. Experience managing others and working in team setting is strongly recommended
6. Have good communication skills, work conscientiously, have a strong sense of work responsibility and teamwork spirit.
7. Comfortable with speaking and writing in English.
