Job Duties:

- Interfacing / partner with Regional Modelling team to proactively identify areas for Modelling support; and formulate relevant solutions accordingly;

- As subject matter expert of Modelling, develop and apply a diverse set of advance data mining tools including (but not limited to) association, decision tree, clustering, multi-variate regression, to design and develop robust, analytic solutions for execution;

- Manage delivery of Modelling outputs, effectively communicate Modelling concepts, quantitative and complex data mining outputs to non-technical audience and provide working-level recommendations in terms of model application and implementation;

- Keep close track of user/field feedback, manage closed-loop performance tracking to assess model performance, identify time-sensitive issues and provide effective solution with short turnaround;

- Propose & develop algorithm to automate routine Modelling tasks to achieve ultimate efficiency;

- Develop a centralize model repository with sufficient recordkeeping of model practice, learning & knowledge

Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor above degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operation Research, Engineering or other highly quantitative majors, master or higher degree desired;

- Minimum 3-5 year working experience in hands-on statistical Modelling / Advanced data mining solution development, preferably in financial service institutions;

- Expert level statistical Modelling knowledge, particularly in linear/non-linear regression, decision tree, cluster analysis, association, etc;

- Highly proficient in SAS and/or other leading statistical software required;

- Good communication skills in verbal and written English; strong interpersonal skills;

- A highly analytical and logical individual who is independent, self-motivated and a team player;

- Detailed oriented, conscious of stringent quality control and able to work under pressure & challenging deadlines;

- Good exposure to financial institutions and profound knowledge in financial products and operation flows will be considered as an advantage
