The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for overseeing the implementation of technical business projects and solutions. Technical Business Analysts work with different stakeholders and technical team members to map, analyze and document business processes and projects.  The role will be part of the APAC Delivery Center who will be responsible for delivering solutions in the APAC region. The role will report to the IT and Security Manager in Shanghai, China for any HR, administrative  and employment related topics, and will report to the Integration and Application Manager in Wellington, New Zealand for software analysis, design, development and delivery topics.

Responsibility

?Understand core applications, their purpose and function and the data flows within and between these systems.
?Focus on requirements gathering, documentation, designing and implementing business solutions to meet business needs.
?Work with the business users and the technical development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design solutions.
?Facilitating workshops and assessing and documenting options
?Participate in all phases of IT application project life cycle, i.e. user requirements definition; risk assessment; systems analysis and design activities; application programming and testing; training and documentation; software package selection and implementation.
?Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses to aid management in making implementation decisions.
?Documentation of existing business applications and processes
?Documentation and analysis of potential replacement tools and processes
?Simplification of existing business processes to align with SaaS products
?Documentation and communication of Application roadmaps with key business users
?Assist in the Installation, configuration and deployment of server applications and systems and roll-out of new processes.
?Participate in development of new applications and systems in an analyst capacity.
?Administration of development, test automation and applications monitoring systems, tools and platforms.
?On-going analysis and improvement of enterprise application integration.
?Identify SaaS products suitable for replacement of legacy applications and processes
?Pre-emptive action as required to ensure reliable and efficient ongoing operation of business applications aligned to industry best practices
?Diagnose application and integration issues, resolving where possible or escalating to the correct responsible 3rd party.
?Day to day applications maintenance activities as required.
?Identify Automation or scripting of manual systems tasks frequently requested by the business.
?Create and run manual queries, SQL scripts and reports for the business.
?Administration of user and application access to databases.
?Data related application trouble shooting.
?Day to day backup and maintenance procedures
?Analysis of data for integration purposes
?Existing applications well documented and areas of improvements and efficiencies identified.
?Identify business requirements for Application improvements and/or replacement.
?SaaS implementations configured to identified business requirements.
?Basic documentation and training of end users for Dekra business systems.
?Development of Dekra business systems configuration and setup procedures for the 1st Level helpdesk.
？Communication of changes within the business.
?Desire to show benefits of change and sell within a change adverse environment
?Work Safely and use all protective clothing and equipment as required
?Report all hazards and unsafe situations
?Report all accidents/incidents, including near misses
?Completion of all health and safety required learning modules

Qualification

?At least 3 years or more in a similar role, with automotive, safety or regulatory industry experience a plus 

?Experience from IT system integration projects?General understanding of ITIL processes

?Basic software development experience

?Bachelor’s degree and above in Information Technology or similar

?IELTS score of 6.0 (competent)?IIBA (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP) certification(s) preferred

?PMP certification preferred

?Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

?Ability to work successfully in a cross-functional regional team environment.

?Excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-tasks.

?Agile development methodology / backlog requirements management experience

?Basic database modelling, SQL and business report development

?Ability to understand code and write basic scripts

?Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly

?Excellent oral and written communication, and presentation skills in English and Mandarin.

?Familiar with Microsoft Office (including Visio and Project) , UML, Power designer, Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud, Web and cloud Technologies
