 Program Coordinator-Core member of Project Management Team (PMT), Clinical Team (CT)

The Program Coordinator supports the Project Management Leader (PML) in providing and maintaining cross functional project plans utilizing systems and tools aligned across R&D.  They provide support to the Compound Development, Project Management and Clinical Teams. The PC maintains integreated cross-functional project plans ensuring they are aligned with the compound development strategy.  They create and communicate timeline, FTE, and OOP reports to teams and management.  The PC also creates and reviews the project critical path analyses to ensure schedule risk is communicated and addressed by the teams. They also provide cross functional scenario planning and analyses to the teams. The PC works for China alone studies/China Work Package with global PCs and Functional Planners for global led programs to ensure the integreated cross-functional project plans aligned with the compound development strategy. PCs are guided in all matters by our J&J Credo values and our Leadership Performance Standards.

Primary Duties:

? Maintains cross-functional project plans, team reports, and resource management support to ensure the completion of deliverables balanced for quality and timeliness by working with PMLs and global PCs and Functional Planners. 

? Assists PMLs in providing and maintaining system tools and cross-functional project plans aligned across R&D to support the China Compound Teams (CCTs) on either China led programs or Global led programs.

? Working closely with global PCs for global led projects to ensure the integrated cross-functional project plans aligned with the compound development strategy.

? Facilitates critical path analyses, contingency planning/scenario analyses, and proposes strategies and solutions to modify schedules to keep the projects on track in collaboration with the PML.

? Generates program reports and communications to ensure team and program alignment of deliverable expectations. Facilitates project communications by maintaining and tracking timelines, deliverables, and milestones.

? Ensures project schedules, resources, and underlying assumptions are integrated and aligned across functions and provides coordination expertise.

? Assists the functions in determining scheduling and resource requirements.  

? Application of new IDP/protocol number creation.

Qualifications: 

Education: ? Bachelor degree in biological, pharmaceutical, clinical or combined business/science discipline required

? Advanced degree in life sciences preferred 

? Professional project management certification and/or diploma is plus.

Experience: ? Minimal 3-year drug development experience is required.

? A detailed understanding of clinical development/trial execution is required. 

? Planisware or MS Project experience is preferred.

? Knowledge of project planning, tracking, resource management, project planning, scheduling tools, and cross-project analyses is preferred
