职位描述


Position Summary

This role is responsible for the national sales performance in China market, delivering on sales and control expenditure in line with budget or set targets. This Sales Manager manages the designated sales team and ensures sales tactics and activity are effectively executed and aligned with marketing strategy.  The Sales Manager also oversees and maintains relationships with key customers and relevant Opinion Leaders. 


Job Description
  • Achieve sales targets, and manage expenditure in line with budget or set targets. Management of business expense budget.   
  • Recruitment, training, development and motivation to retain good performers and management of poor performance.   
  • Effective utilisation of resources that support sales effectiveness, including but not limited to territory planning, analysis of sales data to assist in field coaching and identifying training & development needs.
  • Develop representatives through coaching in the field, complementing action plans, training programmes and ensuring career development process.
  • Develop business plans, work planner, sales programs and strategies in line with company objectives to ensure achievement of sales within operating budget.
  • Develop & maintain excellent communication with external professional contacts, including major customers and appropriate medical and paramedical personnel.
  • Implement CRM territory planning, sales information and performance management reports.
  • Ensure all selling activities comply with all regulations in China market and company standards

Skills / Experience Required
  • Bachelor Degree in Science
  • Min. 3 year's sales management experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the specialist/hospital area
  • Rare Disease Experience would be a plus; CNS field experience would be a plus; Psychiatry field experience would be a plus.
  • Proven sales success within the industry
  • Experience working in a global multi-national pharmaceutical company.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese (spoken and written)
  • Persuasive, with strong selling skills and product knowledge
  • Be good at strategic thinking and KOL management, excellent project planning and organisational skills; execution skills
  • Excellent planning & organizational skills
  • Good people management skills including coaching & development of employees
  • Demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities effectively
  • Teamwork / collaboration and ability to work effectively with numerous interfaces
