Responsibilities:

• Originate novel concepts and technologies for our next generation of products;
• Define elegant but robust solutions to satisfy the products functional requirements;
• Work with our Product Development and Product Marketing teams to ensure a cohesive approach to the design of our products;
• Communicate ideas quickly and effectively using a combination of sketching, CAD layouts, 3D models and working prototypes to evaluate potential solutions;
• Stay abreast of the latest relevant technologies and products and be able to anticipate what we should do next.
• Continually evaluate and improve designs for cost effectiveness, manufacturing improvements, increased quality and value.
• Identify new ideas, products and/or features that improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs and keep our product line at the forefront of our industry.
  
  

Ideal candidates will possess most or all of the following qualifications:

• More than 10 years’ experience in research and development of small household appliances (EPC, Rice Cooker, Blender, Air fryer, Oven, Coffee machines, etc.);
• College degree or above in mechanical, electronic or mold related fields;
• Proficiency in application engineering software such as AutoCAD, Pro/ENGINEER, Solid Works;
• Communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and encourage their efforts;
• Promote personal and group interaction with our products, our teams, and our customers to gain a real understanding of needs;
• Work seamlessly with our U.S. and China based Product Development teams to ensure that great ideas make it through to production.
• A natural and effective communicator, capable of reducing abstract concepts to reality.
• Self-motivated and obsessed with details;
• Good English skill in writing and reading, priority to excellent speaking.
