Responsibilities:  Responsible for New product development, Logic Circuit Development and Testing and validation, Technical Support to Sales, and customers, Component Selection, System pricing  and  costing,  Bill  of  material  &  3D model, Drawing, DFMEA, FEA/CFD  preparation  necessary  for produce development.

Key Performance Indicators (SMART Goals)

Design of new product with APQP Process

Design Verification and validation using Simulation and Design Calculations and Lab testing

Qualifications:  BE Mechanical

Experience:   3 to 5 years’ experience on industrial automation Components; Design/Testing/Validation/Application of Rail or industrial automation Components, such as valves, (experience and knowledge with valve islands is preferred), actuators, air filter regulator, manifolds etc.

Competencies:

Design, Test and Launch of new products using NPD, APQP, NPI, GD&T,

Must be expert in engineering drawing making through 3D software Autodesk Inventor (or Pro-E, Solidworks Etc.)

Familiar with manufacturing process such as plastic injection molding, sheet metal, die casting, machining.

Added advantage for experience of Ansys for Structural, Thermal and CFD analysis

Must be well versed with Mech Engineering basics like GD&T, tolerance stack up, type of Fits, Materials, Reliability, Testing and Design calculations or anything which is related to Design Engineering job

Must be well conversant to necessary standards followed in industrial automation and Rail sectors
