1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

   1. The creation of all visual designs for the common areas of the schools
   2. Concept development, design and overseeing the production of all school collateral materials, including newsletters, advertisements, flyers, invitations and brochures
   3. Acting as the onsite photographer for school events and activities, ensuring that school life is captured in a regular and ongoing basis, as a means to supporting the school marketing strategies and communication plans.
   4. Managing the recording and editing of short videos for use on social media and the school’s websites.
   5. Liaising with vendors and undertaking the management of printing tasks to ensure brand and budget are maintained
   6. Management and maintenance of graphic files, including logos, photos and art works
   7. Management of all website graphical elements and designs
   8. Meeting all deadlines set by stakeholders relating to graphic design and photography
   9. Undertaking additional duties as required by the Director of Admissions and Marketing or Marketing Manager

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications or related field or equivalent experience

2. Good spoken and written English is advantageous

3. Minimum 3 years’ experience in graphic design.

4. Fluency in current graphic design practices such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects and in-Design

5. An understanding and knowledge of audio-visual media and its application; knowledge of Final Cut Pro and Premier would be advantageous

6. An understanding of web production software desirable

7. Experience quoting and managing print jobs

8. Strong photography skills

9. Ability to handle multiple projects at once

10. Ability to meet tight deadlines, to be organized and detail-oriented

11. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Photography

• Create day-to-day photographs that reflects the ethos of the College
• Publish and distribute created works to press and internal teams
• Provide creative support and services to all internal departments
• Manage the photograph database to ensure easy access of all photographs to press and internal teams
• Colour correct raw files for print and digital use and save in multiple formats and resolution
• Review copyrights for Wellington pupils/parents/staff and community usage
• 
  
• Videography
• Create video footage that reflects the ethos of the College by filming school events, interview with staff/ parents/ pupils, etc.
• Edit the videos for internal and external communications purposes
• If needed: to work closely with third-party vendors to ensure high quality and on time deliverables on all post productions
• Have experience of working with Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere for editing short videos.
