Role:

The Commercial i.e. Business & Product Management (BPM) team conducts business, financial and market research to support and contribute to our client’s business development initiatives. The position(s) would play a critical role in putting together custom pitches, collaterals, pre-meeting packages, value books and executing other key activities that aim to strengthen our client’s market position to win new mandates. Some of the activities include:

Functional Responsibility / Domain Related

• Creating content like pre-meeting packages, value books on a company or a sector for Sales team.

• Maintaining knowledge of client products and services, industry trends and competition.

• Identify local databases/resources to research prospects; perform research on prospects or clients using open sources such as google, company or third party websites, Annual reports etc.

• Conduct competitor analysis, business research and intelligence

• Collect economic and financial information specific to a region, market or organization

• Conduct market sizing or statistical analysis and interpret key industry trends and converts them into actionable insights

• Maintaining and updating all sales accounts/contacts in the Sales force.com portal

• Generating weekly/monthly reports/dashboards as mandated; Interact with multiple datasets and build dashboards or reports using business intelligence tools

• Work on every kind of project-based task as assigned – data, research, analysis, presentations etc

Client Management / Stakeholder Management

• Develop cordial and trust based relationship with client and own team, both based in international locations and fully own the service delivery of client processes

Candidate Profile:

• Mandarin native speaker and fluency in English, mandatory.

• Knowledge of other Asian languages will hold an advantage and will be preferred

• Understanding of financial markets and concepts

• Expertise in PowerPoint presentations, Advanced Excel skills; VBA macros will be an advantage

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience in using Salesforce.com, Bloomberg, CapitalIQ will be preferred; Microstrategy, Qlikview will be an added advantage

• Positive attitude with qualities of a team player; capable of working in an international team environment

• Ability to build client relations, actively communicate and get involved in discussions with client team

• Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to deal with pressure

  Essential Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required with 2-3 years relevant experience. Or Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
