Responsibilities:

1. Responsible to design experiments, execute the designed experiments for the development studies, identify and determine critical process parameters for viral vector production and purification
2. Design and develop scale up and scale down models for all major downstream purification steps
3. Plan, execute, and optimize the viral vector production and purification processes; participate the process optimization and improvement studies
4. Author technical documents/reports and support regulatory filling as needed
5. Facilitate the technical transfer process to internal or external clinical and commercial GMP manufacturing facilities
6. Record and analyze experimental data, verify data integrity/accuracy, and summarize and report to the team
7. Work in a team environment, contribute to meet project timeline and objectives

Requirement:

• Education: Bachelor/Master/PhD
• Experience: Bachelor with 5-7 yrs/Master with 3-5 yrs/PhD with 0-2 yrs related work experience (downstream purification process development)
• Skillsets:
• Broad knowledge and experience in all stages of downstream purification including but not limited to: Cell Recovery, Clarification/Filtration, Tangential flow systems (TFF), Ultrafiltration/Diafiltration (UFDF), Membrane and Resin Chromatography for viruses, vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, cell therapy, or other large molecules is required
• Deep hands-on experience on AKTA is required
• Experience in technical process transfer to internal and external clinical and commercial GMP manufacturing facilities is a plus
• Experience in technical report writing is a plus
• Team-based collaborations and team spirit is required
• Language: Fluent in Mandarin and English
