Job Purpose:
The qualified candidate will join the pre-clinical team to lead the bioanalytical activities in immunogenicity assessment of pipeline therapeutics in development. The candidate will partner closely with all groups in R&D and support the development of novel therapeutic candidates from research to clinical development.

Responsibilities:
1) Establish total binding antibody assays to AAV of different serotypes as well as specific transgene products on MSD
2) Establish cell-based neutralizing antibody assays to AAV of different serotypes
3) Characterize potential host immune responses, including both acute cytokine response as well as adaptive T-cell response, to viral vectors and transgene products in animal models
4) Assess potential immunogenicity of transgene products by in vitro antigen presentation and T cell activation assays using human PBMC
5) Develop good understanding of GLP assay development principles, responsible for technology transfer of bioanalytical assays to central clinical labs and manage assay development and clinical sample analyses
6) Work closely with project leaders to plan, coordinate, and monitor the timely execution and completion of various bioanalytical projects.
7) Provide leadership for development, qualification and execution of bioanalytical assays including but not limited to viral infection assays, T-cell response assay, binding antibody assay, neutralization assay, cytokine release assays, ELISA, and ELISPOT
8) Timely provision of data and documentation in reports to support intellectual property filings, publication and regulatory submissions

Qualifications:
？ Education: PhD in Biology, Immunology/ Virology field is preferred
？ Experience: 5 or more years of working experience in Immunology/ Virology field
？ Skillsets: cell culture, viral infection/transduction, ELISA, flow cytometry, binding/ neutralizing antibody detection, ELISPOT, cytokine array, etc., experience in AAV and Lenti-viral vector is a plus.
？ Language: Good communication skills in both English and Chinese, candidates with strong oral and written English are preferred
？ Others: Working collaboratively and independently, high problem-solving capability, self-motivation and quick learning
