Senior interior designer for one of the leading entertaining company.

The role:
·During the Construction Documentation phase of design, this person will help the Imagineers from Glendale oversee the Land LDI's and any adjunct Interior Design consultants in Shanghai,including oversight of design, detailing and coordination with all other disciplines. This candidate will partner with the design team, helping with material resourcing in China.
·During the Construction Phase, this candidate will be part of the team of Imagineers, from both California and Shanghai, who work with the contractors, checking shop drawings, answering any questions from the field, and overseeing site construction for adherence to both contract documents and specifications. ·Good organizational skills.
·Good written and verbal communication skills.
·Good understanding of contract documentation.
·Excellent knowledge of architectural materials and finishes available in China, and their appropriate use.
·Working knowledge of retail and restaurant design.
·Ability to work in all phases of a project's development, including large and complex projects.
·Good design ability, including the ability to graphically represent the design concept to the team or LDI.
·Must have a good spoken and written command of English, to verbally communicate with the team from Glendale.
·Must have excellent CAD skills (preferably Autocad 2012 or very recent version)
·Must have excellent Photoshop skills.
·Education, Training, Knowledge and Skills:
·Should have 10 years experience at an interior design firm, which specializes in themed and/or high end hospitality design where they either led the team or was on a team who produced construction documentation and/or specified colors and materials.
