Background

APAC Diagnostic (APAC), is a provider of Drug testing products and services. Products include, the APAC multipanel cup, which is a urine screening device for detection of illicit drugs and their metabolites in urine. The APAC cup is sold to law enforcement agencies, including corrections and for work place testing.

APAC is now developing an oral fluid device, which is used to detect illicit drugs in saliva. The development team includes:

? Engineering consultants in Sweden, who develops the device hardware

? Chemists in Sweden who develops the chemistry of the device

? Chemists in Hangzhou who develops and manufactures the chemistry of the device

? APAC office in Nanjing who assists with project.

? Project owner in Australia who sets the specification and finance the project.

APAC is now seeking a Project Manager in China who is the link in between Sweden – China – Australia.

Job Responsibilities– Project Manager Oral Fluid Device

1. Manage the day to day interaction in between the teams in Sweden and China. The candidate will spend a lot of time with the chemists in Hangzhou.

2. Together with the Project owner, set realistic development goals with the R&D team. The goals will be documented into a project plan

3. On a daily basis discuss project results with Sweden, China and Australia.

4. Continuously document results, which is to be shared with the teams in Sweden, China and Australia

Candidate’s background

1. A tertiary scientific degree, minimum Bachelor of Science

2. 3-5 years work experience from project management, either as a team member, assistant manager or manager.

3.Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, probably from work experience with other international companies.

Optional

4. Working background from biochemistry in general and immunoassay development in particular.

Location

Nanjing with extensive travel to Hangzhou and potentially to Sweden and Australia
