Technical Engineer
Responsibility:
1. Technical specification review and initial product selection
2. Statement of compliance
3. System level drawings (pneumatic schematics/pipe sizing)
4. Installation drawing preparation and review
5. Electric coupler contact configuration determination with carbuilder
6. Technical description of the products being supplied
7. RAMS plans and analysis
8. LCC
9. Power consumption analysis
10. Equipment weight calculations
11. Product application assistance to the car builder
12. Technical communications between car builder and WPT product engineering
13. Technical meeting attendance
14. Car builder and customer training
15. Warranty support
16. Familiar with 3D design software e.g. solidWorks or Pro/E
Requirements:
1. At least 3 years of working experience in mass transit field;
2. Problem solving skills including knowledge of root cause analysis and cause-effect techniques.
3. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and 3D software is required
4. Good communication skills and good command in English & Chinese

The US investor – Wabtec is a world leading company in railway field with 150-year history. It had been providing coupler system for 85 years with mature technology, Throughout the 20th century, Wabtec maintained worldwide leadership in rail equipment technologies designed to ensure the safety and productivity of customers in the transportation industries.
The Chinese Investor – GB masters the good market channel and offers diversification business to China railway customer and metro authorities. By 2012, we have established the mature platform of coupler manufacture, test, after-service and achieved the China localization system; our coupler system can meet all customers’ platform and run into international market.
