JD for garment merchandiser

Job Requirement

• College graduate or above majoring garment or relevant background ;
• Fluency in spoken and written English;
• 6 years working experience in the garment buying office; good experience on the garment manufacturing process and technical requirement as well the accessories;
• Always full energy and actively to the work; good in teamwork, like to learn and like share;
• Good & efficient communication skills between customers and factories;
• Strong negotiation skills and ability, capable to solve the difficulties and achieve the target;
• If well understanding on Detox requirement will be a nice preferable;
  
  

Job Responsibility:

• Follow up orders with vendors, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time deliveries;
• Arrange samples and liaise the testing lab to complete the testing according the customer testing requirement;
• Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development and production;
• Evaluate vendors' capability / strength / weakness to be well referenced by the sales team;
• Check the lab dips， measure the sizes, verify the colours and specification ensure the accessories and finished products are meeting customer standard;;
• Arrange buyer/sales business travel and be the good organizer of the trip and the meeting with suppliers;
• Execute other job task assigned from the managers;
