Position Responsibility Summary:

1. Provide mechanical design for new product developing according to roadmap requirement.  Detail design, fabricate and test on mechanical and electro-mechanical products/parts.

2. Well understanding on injection mold tool & die process, work with suppliers/ manufactures to develop high quality parts within cost target.

3. Familiar with the characteristics of common materials and processing technology, understand the stainless steel forming and unfolding, welding, bending, grinding and other related processes, lead design & verification work on sink & faucet.

4. Conduct project design reviews with Lead engineer within all cross functional teams。

5. Completed qualification and verification test per product and component specification and Elkay’s design requirement.  

6. Cooperate with Global design team, to finish product globalization design work.

7. Manage 3D drawings of product per PDM management procedure, maintenance 3D Models according to responsibility.

8. Expected to create complete product documentation packages.

9. Performs root cause analysis of existing products and develops corrective actions plans, improve product’s design quality.

10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications：

1、Bachelor degree or above in mechanical design

2、Good English verbal and written skills.

3、Over 6 years working experience in mechanical design, 3 years working experience in refrigeration system or water treatment system

4、Proficient in Solidworks software, experience for refrigeration system design is preferred

5、Familiar with NDP process, have independent experience on product development from concept to mass production.

6、Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, problem solving, and an ability to learn quickly

7、Self-motivated and accountable, able to work independently and efficiently
