Job Description

- Supplier manufacturing process and product quality management for Bosch eBike systems

- Work with engineering, sourcing quality and cross functions in the organization to ensure proper implementation of e-bike HMI and Lithium-Ion battery charger quality requirements

- Perform process quality audit/assessment through sampling phases and during mass production

- Conduct periodic supplier quality review

- Ensure product meet yield and quality goals during development and series production

- Work with upstream and downstream suppliers to sustain and improve component quality performance

- Drive root cause analysis (8D) at supplier and ensure closed loop with purchasing and quality team

- Contribute product reliability and re-qualification test plan in sampling phase and Engineering Change Request/Notice (ECR/ECN)

- Responsible for QZ tests and reviews results

- New suppliers or new supplier sites audit/assessments

Qualifications

- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.

- Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar discipline

- 6+ years’ experience in supplier Quality management

- Experienced in device assembly (EMS experience)

- Experienced with relevant consumer electronic manufacturing and process quality improvement and product qualification

- Experienced in statistical tools for root cause analysis and statistical decision making.

- Knowledge and experience of process improvement methodologies such as lean and six sigma, etc.

- Passionate about learning new technologies.

Further Qualifications:

- The ideal candidate will have experience in leading the implementation of process control of supplier from qualification stage through to mass production.

- Particular focus will be required on establishing both FAI (first article inspection), capability and process in China, and the capability to define and revise specifications

- Solid experience on quality tools such as statistical process control, Six Sigma, Lean, process improvements, yield improvements, Pareto charts, root cause analysis, failure modes, gauge reliability and repeatability, FAI (first article inspection), Cpk (statistical process capability), etc.

- Lead Auditor competence
