The role:

n Researches and analyzes data such as client design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application

n Works with clients to develop project scope of work

n Is responsible for developing electrical drawings for power supply & distribution, grounding & lightning protection, lighting, etc. for a completely building electrical system

n Provides fault current analysis and relay protection study for electrical system

n Develops equipment lists, material requisitions, specifications and other documents related to electrical equipment

n Uses computer assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering and design calculations and other engineering tasks

n Supervises local design institute for electrical engineering and design based on project requirement

n Provides service during construction and makes field trips as required

n Has the ability to direct and coordinate fabrication, construction, installation, and operational testing to ensure electrical systems conform to engineering design, client specifications, and applicable codes, regulations, and laws

n Bachelor's Degree

n Twelve (12) years of electrical engineering experience, with background for data center or pharmaceutical field, working experience in design institute preferred

n In-depth knowledge of the Chinese codes and other electrical standards, familiar with international codes, such as NEC, IEEE, IEC, etc.

n Experience in reviewing and approving project drawings (electrical portion)

n Functional experience with Microsoft Office applications

n Proficient in AutoCAD and development of detail design drawings

n Experience coordinating electrical engineering and design activities with other project disciplines

n Fluent English: read, write and speak

n Be able to travel
