Main responsibility:

1. Program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) and HMI for automated systems
2. Design hardware and software control systems.
3. Design and troubleshoot pneumatic and electrical motion control.
4. Prototype and test new electrical / electronic designs.
5. Create technical operations documentation for systems.
6. Prepare functional and technical specifications.
7. Review and check electrical designs.
8. Perform practical wiring, testing and commissioning of electro-mechanical systems if required.
9. Travel internationally to perform installation, commissioning and customer training.
10. Respect for people through positive communication, consideration and collaborative relationships.
11. Maintain and follow best practices in Engineering, Customer Service, Quality, Lean Management and Safety.
12. Execute responsibilities according to lawful and ethical standards.
13. Define and align personal goals with departmental goals.
14. Coordination of prototyping and testing;
15. Qualifying designs utilizing regulations established by UL, CE, ATEX, CSA, ASME, ASTM, NEMA, ISO, customer specifications, and engineering standards established by Norgren;
16. Organize resource to deliver high performance EA solution for different sector and keep good project management.

Requirements:

1. A university bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Controls Systems Technology, or the China equivalent from a recognized engineering university and 3 years experience is required. A master’s degree is preferred;
2. Has experience on one or more PLCs, like Siemens, AB, Omron, Mitsubishi etc.
3. Has experience on one or more industrial ethernet protocol, and know the basic structure of protocol ProfiNet, Ethernet/IP, Ether Cat , IO-link slave and IO-link master etc.
4. Could use one of PLC to establish communication via one of protocol.
5. Experience with AutoCAD software for electrical drawings.
6. Experience with circuit analysis and electrical prototyping and troubleshooting.
7. Hands on experience with mechanical systems and pneumatics.
8. Proficient in PLC and HMI programming for automated control systems.
9. Knowledge of electrical installations. Experience with electrical panel design, building and testing is an asset.
10. Experience with on-site commissioning and troubleshooting of control systems.
11. Problem solving, time management, prioritization abilities, and awareness of business and finance implications.
12. Visualization, innovation, initiative, professionalism, integrity, and the ability to work in a team environment.
13. General office and PC skills including Microsoft Office applications, organization, filing, etc.
14. Good command of English, both oral and writing;
