Working as part of the Global Talent and Change Management Centre of Excellence, this role drives Husky’s talent programs in the APAC region. In partnership with the local APAC Human Resources and Management team this role specifically supports local talent acquisition, performance development planning, talent review/succession management and major transformations through people change management programs.
Job Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition (60%)
Accountable for full-cycle recruiting process for high-volume and niche roles, while ensuring an incredibly positive candidate experience for the APAC region
- Act as local recruitment expert owning the end to end process, educate and coach team leaders in best practices
- Work together with respective hiring managers to get deep knowledge about their requirements
- Manage job posting/sourcing strategy
- Screen resumes, phone screen candidates, and administers appropriate assessments
- Manage interview process; including coordination of interviews, virtually and physically
- Follow up with hiring managers to obtain feedback on the interview and relay status to the candidate
- Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Play significant role in creating local recruitment network with respective partners, schools and/or universities
- Performance/Talent Management (25%)
- Responsible for supporting the execution of enterprise-wide talent management programs in the APAC region
- Partner with local Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) to execute Husky’s annual performance development program (PDP)
- Support local HRBP’s to execute Husky’s annual Talent Review process ensuring; high potential successors are identified, succession plans for critical positions are developed, succession gaps are identified, and plans are in place to address gaps in the APAC region
- Work with local HRBP’s and management to assess the leadership development needs of the region, bring these needs back to the global team to ensure global alignment and action as required
People Change Management (15%)
Working directly with the global People Change Management team and local HRBP’s, this role is accountable to execute change management programs to support organizational transformation initiatives.
- Support communication and training efforts
- Engage and coach leaders working alongside the change team, project team and business leaders to develop cultural change and transition plans for team members to build readiness and support for transformation
- Support identifying and managing anticipated resistance along with mitigation tactics
- Support in contributing to organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities;
- Work with the global People Change Management team to define, create and implement, communication, training and user support programs locally
- Implement and deliver training related to people change management locally
- Responsible to contribute to success metrics globally and implement locally
- Other special projects as assigned (global and/or local)
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years full-cycle recruitment process required
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in talent management and performance development planning required
- Experience with large-scale, organizational change efforts, preferably in a matrixed organization
- Knowledge in change management, preferably with experience using Prosci© change management methodology an asset
- English proficiency both written, and verbal is required
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences, both in verbal and written format
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with all levels in an organization
- Ability to influence others, build consensus toward a common goal while negotiating the needs of diverse groups
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
- Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
- Minimal travel required
