Key Responsibilities:

The Buyer is responsible for the buying activities for China market, prepare sales forecast and make selection according to OTB & merchandising plan 

Job Description:

    OTB and Buying

· Provide support to the Buying Manager to define the OTB, Store Cluster and Merchandising Plan for all lines/collection

· Prepare sales forecast. Monitor inventory and sell thru. Whenever feasible, propose and follow up on reorder

· Participate in Seasonal Presentation and Buying Camp in . Following the Buying & Planning Manager’s direction, adapt      buying guidelines from Head-quaters to fit local market needs

· Prepare season-end report and pre-buy analysis. Review size assortment and performance by product category to ensure the latest trends are reflected in the buy

· Follow through with the whole buying process from selection, order input, confirmation to delivery. Need to monitor the intake rate and make order adjustment whenever necessary

· Maintain good working relationship with local licensee partners on orders, replenishments, shipment & delivery, and training

· Online work experience needed as well.

    Merchandising

· Monitor stock delivery, ensure the collection launching and seasonal sales schedules are in line with Retail Calendar and sales trend

· Responsible for inventory level and product selection at Retail Outlets

· Review sales performance and sell thru with the Buying Manager, give out instructions for rebalancing of stocks to stores

· Make regular visit to stores to collect qualitative comments and propose action plan / incentive program whenever necessary

· Conduct market survey. Update on market trend and review our price positioning on a seasonal basis

    Communications and Retail Supports    

·Deliver a thorough product training to sales staff team during seasonal D-day

· Work with Operations team on product launches, merchandise transfer, and uniform styling

· Coordinate with Logistics team on shipment and delivery

· Provide commercial inputs to Visual Merchandiser, give strategic direction on the new arrivals and slow-sellers to be highlighted

· Coordinate with the marketing department for PR promotion and facilitate product placement

· Provide after-sales-service support for quality issues

Job Requirements:

· University degree. Diploma holder of fashion related discipline will also be considered

· 3-5 years buying experience of fashion brands for market

· Good commend of both English and Chinese

· Strong fashion sense and analytical skills

· Good MS Excel skills (Pivot Table and Vlookup), MS Powerpoint, and knowledge in Retail Pro is an advantage
